Langebaan

West Cote – 130 km – 1h20 from CT

Langebaan is a charming coastal town located on the west coast of South Africa, about 120 kilometers north of Cape Town. Known for its beautiful lagoon, Langebaan offers white sand beaches and beautiful seascapes.

I recommend you to put down your suitcases there. The atmosphere is much more festive than in Paternoster, with many bars and restaurants. The beach is very beautiful and you can admire the skysurfers there.

Idées hôtel

“Windtown Lagoon” is the hotel where we stayed a few years ago and it is perfect for spending a few days in the area.

Paternoster

Côte ouest – 160 km – 1h45 de CT

Paternoster is a fishing village located on the west coast of South Africa, about 90 kilometers north of Cape Town. Famous for its quiet atmosphere.

Nice to walk there one afternoon to see its whitewashed fishermen’s houses (a bit like Greek houses), and take a stroll on the beach. Nothing more.

I advise you to put down your suitcases in Langebaan. The atmosphere is more festive than in Paternoster, with many bars and restaurants. The beach is very beautiful and you can admire the skysurfers there.

Paid park entrance fee: R130 / person

Swimming on the beaches of Preekstoel and Kraalbaai.

In the lagoon, walk and swim in crystal clear, warm water. A must.
