Every second Wednesday of the month, Drostdy Street is closed to traffic and hosts a “wine tasting” evening from November to March from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Buy your tickets giving access to this event. On site, you will be given a glass and a bag of 10 tokens. All you have to do is go to one of the many wine stands present and taste their wines.
Live music, very friendly and festive atmosphere. The opportunity to share a drink with a majority of locals accustomed to this unmissable event in Stellenbosch.
Each evening, the organizers choose to present a selection of different cellars.

Warwick’s La Femme Bleu Cabernet Sauvignon was released in 1984, after which the estate bottled the world’s first ever ‘Cape Blend’.

Boekenhoutskloof is a must-see. Known for its famous “Chocolate block”, a magnificent blend that is a must-try. Established in 1776, Boekenhoutskloof is located in the most remote corner of the Franschhoek Valley. Bought and restored in 1993, the farm and estate now produces Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Semillon and Viognier. Tasting days are at 11am, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
