Cape Town – Bar
If its restaurant is to be avoided, the Manhattan is the most famous gay bar in Cape Town. A must-see for a drink in the evening, before or after dinner. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Open to all of course !!

Beluga ♥♥♥
Cape Town
Formerly located in the Waterkant district, the new Beluga has settled on the docks, a few hundred meters from the modern art museum “Zeitz MOCAA”. The room is magnificent, the food delicious, the wine list interesting, the service impeccable. The only place I know that offers on its menu, 1kg of shrimp. Fans will appreciate it. To do absolutely. Let me know what you think.

The Bungalow ♥♥♥
Cape Town
As a ritual, the Bungalow is invariably the restaurant where I have lunch on the day of my departure for France. Nestled near the beaches of Clifton, this place offers a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean. Relaxed atmosphere, inspired by the beach. The Bungalow is a must-visit destination in Cape Town.

kloof street house ♥♥♥♥
Cape Town
In a Victorian mansion in the heart of Cape Town, Kloof Street House is a sanctuary of old-world elegance and charm. The interior, with its antique lamps and fine tapestries, evokes a bygone era, creating an atmosphere that is both mystical and intimate. The music, often jazzy, adds a touch of soft melody to the overall ambiance. All these elements make Kloof Street House a unique place, where old-world style meets contemporary chic.

With its terraced spaces offering stunning panoramic views of the city and Table Mountain, the restaurant is bathed in natural light that blends with sophisticated interior design.

The Hussar Grill ♥♥♥
Camps Bay
This is definitely THE restaurant for meat lovers. The Hussar Grill is a chain but the one in Camps Bay is by far the nicest I’ve ever been to. Its dark wood paneling, shelves stocked with selected wines and soft lighting ensure an intimate and warm atmosphere.

Willoughby & Co
Cape Town – Japonais – Waterfront
In the heart of Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, Willoughby & Co has carved out a reputation for itself. The menu, while focused on sushi, goes beyond that, offering a range of authentic Japanese dishes as well as modern interpretations of classics. It’s just a shame it’s located in a shopping mall, as famous as it is.

Nestled in the heart of Cape Town’s city centre, FYN is the pure expression of Chef Peter Tempelhoff’s culinary vision. The name, meaning ‘fine’ in Afrikaans, evokes the finesse and sophistication the restaurant aspires to achieve in every plate served. Large windows offer panoramic views of Table Mountain.

Lily’s
Cape Town
Along the Mouille Point promenade, after the Red and White lighthouse, don’t miss Lily’s Burger. Super good. Small, cheap and really nice restaurant.
